3 Simple Healthy Snacks Recommended By A Fitness Expert

Healthy Snacking

Maybe you didn’t eat enough today. Maybe you’re just craving something tasty to munch on. If you’re health-conscious, it’s not always easy to find diet-friendly snack options.

Here’s the good news: We discovered 3 delicious and easy healthy snacks, thanks to Jenn Zerling, fitness expert and author of “Breaking the Chains of Obesity, 107 Tools.”

And here’s more good news: When hunger strikes, you don’t have to obsess over calories.

Instead of counting calories, Zerling says it’s more important to opt for balanced snacks containing macronutrients, which are carbohydrates, protein and fat, the nutrients that the body needs most for growth, metabolism and other body functions, according to the McKinley Health Center.

To stay fit, Zerling chows down on the snacks below. They’ve become some of our favorites, too.
